Essence quality: love at 1st try!

One thing we really love about essence is, that it is lots of fun for little money. you may wonder: if it’s so cheap – can it be of great quality?

Now, here is the cool thing: yes! in fact quality really matters to essence.

It starts with the product manufacturing. our manufacturers are not anonymous producers somewhere in the world. we only produce with trusted partners - mainly in europe. all our processes are thoroughly checked and tested, the manufacturing as well as the products themselves.

For us, quality is more important than big ad campaigns. that’s why I, Cosma, am the brand ambassador of essence and not some expensive super model. essence prefers to invest its money in the development of high quality trend products and innovations you can trust in.

For us quality is not just talk. we strictly follow the international guidelines, the good manufacturing practices and the eu-cosmetics regulation*. and that’s great because it regulates the ban on animal testing amongst other things. but we do even more! that’s why essence created its own negative list, where products with ingredients under critical review do not have a chance – even though it would be legal to use them.

Another important policy for us is: no secrets! essence lists the ingredients of all products – you can find them in the inci booklet at the point of sale and on our website alongside each product.
