1965 July: Malaysia Kao Company (Private) Limited was incorporated

1973 January: Company name changed to Kao (Singapore) Pte Ltd

1975 October: Formally started direct sales operations

1977 April: Full sales & distribution operations

1988 April: Kao (South East Asia) was incorporated

1989 December: Moved office and warehouse to Alexandra Road

2002 December: Moved office to at Beach Road, Gateway West

2003 April: Kao (Singapore) and Kao (Southeast Asia) merged into one company

2010 January: Acquire Kanebo Distributorship from Mitsui Co.

2011 October: Company name changed to Kao Singapore Pte Ltd

2011 November: Moved to current office at Clemenceau Avenue

2012 January: Amagalmation of Kao Singapore and KPSS into one company

2013 January: Amagalmation of Kao Singapore and Molton Brown Asia into one company
