Becca Lowlight Highlight Palette Poured

So, I bought this Becca kit out on a limb to really get a taste of all the hype about the brand and their products.
This product is a hit and miss for me; I love the cool tones but the ease of application is quite a doozie.

PROS:
It's a good little palette for a light contour to define your features quickly. I'm still new to the full-on contouring movement, but this is a great product for the low maintenance girl who wants to highlight her face.
It's small and compact and the cream texture can make it easy to apply without a brush and it's also blendable, so you can keep going with the intensity you're after.

CONS:
The tones is not great for all skin tones. If you range from pale to fair, you get a visible contour. If you're tanned or olive-toned, you're more likely to get a very lightweight contour but you can always add more layers for it to pop out. I will however, take caution in applying too much since it can appear ashy on yellow skin tones.
Second - the cream texture. While I do love a creamy application, I do find it really hard to get it out of the case and on to your skin. You'll need a good foundation brush to apply on your skin, followed by a lightly damp blender. I've also gone to the extend of applying a tiny bit of heat via a lighter, so if you do want to give that a shot, proceed with caution.
I had a high hopes for the texture, and I don't know if it's the cold weather, but the palatte is reasonably hard and the worst is that dust and dirt WILL stick to it! And with that said, if you've got oily, zit/acne prone skin - this baby is a no-go.

So, long story short - if you have dry skin and want a very light contour, go for this.
I know Becca also carries the same product but in a powdered texture, so I might give that a go after I'm done and dusted with this one.
