When global leading beauty brands first broke into the Korean market, HERA was born with the slogan: a woman with allure. It soon grew into the leading prestige brand in Korea through its exclusiveness, with technologies that enabled the implementation of fashionable colors, counseling for different skin types and analysis of skin/emotion, excellent-quality products and strong network-based marketing campaigns.



Based on its modern take on Asian beauty, HERA presented a packaging design that was at once both sophisticated and bold. As such, it visualized the traditional Oriental belief in the shape of the universe with a circle that represents the sky and a rectangle symbolizing the land. HERA’s packaging design represents its pursuit of the feminine ideal characterized as self-assured with a distinct identity to compete at the top of the world while keeping abreast of the times.



HERA Makeup was innovative from the very beginning. It focused on not only color but also the protection of skin cells by closely investigating what the skin wants – sensible makeup with good texture, maximized hold and excellent finish.
