Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer

Really love this shade. My all-time favourite so far after trying Kat Von D's contour palette, colourpop bronzer, innisfree and etude house. Yet to try the tarte amazon clay bronzer but this hoola one is great. It is very subtle hence beginner-friendly. A great first bronzer to have before working up to other brands/types. Downside would be that if you like more colour on your face, you would need to apply quite a bit of this. Not super long-wearing as well if you apply a light wash only. Would need some setting spray over it.

I've repurchased this twice. I use it everyday and absolutely adore it. Many bronzers are too warm for my cool-toned skin, but this product is such a neutral shade of brown and is extremely flattering and effective as both a contour and a bronzer. In fact, I even prefer it to my ABH and Kat Von D contour palettes, which were not as easy to blend as the Hoola bronzer. I didnt quite like the brush at first, but I quickly warmed up to it and it does the blending decently. Absolutely worth the spend.

The colour may appear darker than it actually is. I ended up swiping it on a few times to get the desired effect I wanted. This is great, because I'd apply more when I knew I would be taking many pics that day and less when I want a natural look to just hang out with friends! And, idk if it's just me being stupid but I had trouble opening the box lol.

Bought it with my own money thinking it would be a perfect contouring powder for a desirable V-shape face and small nose. However, it doesn't perform well for how it is claimed. Fortunately I find it work extremely well as a bronzer to add some warmth to my cheek bone.

Pros:
- avail in travel size too so it's affordable and travel friendly.
- is a very nice bronzer for better facial definition
- can be used as a matte eyeshadow too

Cons:
- the brush is very rough. I don't like it.
- doesn't look natural as a contouring powder, doesn't work well as one too
- expensive
- the box is made from paper so it will be ruined if you place it at a wet or damp place. It doesn't close tightly so the box will open itself if you put inside your pouch and carry around.
